Our Socials

---

Tír Conaill Football Club is a new community football club in Cambuslang, Glasgow, founded in 2026 and inspired by the deep ties between Scotland and Donegal. Built on the values of community, opportunity, ambition and inclusion, we exist to bring people together through football and to make a positive difference on and off the pitch.

Although we are a young club, our journey is already well under way. Our 2016s are up and running with two teams, TCFC Green and TCFC Gold, training at Eastfield Leisure Centre and competing in the Glasgow league. Our 2017 and 2018 players have now come together for their first sessions, and registration remains open for both age groups.

Coming soon, our Wee Fawns classes at Trinity High School will give children from 18 months to 5 years their very first taste of the game.

Our identity is rooted in the proud landscapes and heritage shared between Scotland and Ireland, and it shapes a clear pathway for every player who joins us. Children start as Wee Fawns (ages 3–5), grow into Fawns (ages 6–12) and progress to become Red Deer (13+). At every stage, our focus is on fun, development and a positive environment where young people can grow as players and as people.

Our vision is to build a sustainable club that offers opportunities for players of all ages and abilities, and a welcoming home for families and the wider community. We believe football should be accessible, enjoyable and able to inspire people to reach their potential, both in the game and beyond it.

In time, we want Tír Conaill FC to be more than a football club: a hub for community engagement, player development, education, health and wellbeing, and local connection through sport. Success on the pitch will always matter, but so will the positive impact we make in the communities we serve.

We are proud to have the backing of our founding sponsors, GMG, Jobs in Football, Darcey Quigley & Co and Halliday Construction, and we are always keen to hear from players, coaches, volunteers, partners and supporters who want to help us grow.

From Wee Fawns to Red Deer – Building Players, People and Community.

Players. Coaches. Volunteers. Sponsors. Supporters.

Join us and be part of the Tír Conaill story.
